Tasks for people and agents, on time and on cue.
Give work to a person or an agent and follow it to done. Repeat it on a schedule, run it as a workflow of steps, or start it when something happens.
Agents on tasks
Give a task to an agent and it plans the work, reports in the task's thread, asks when it needs to, and stops when it's done. You can stop it, run it again and see every run. Ask an agent for tasks in your own words ("remind Kofi to send the newsletter on Monday") and it proposes them on a card for you to confirm.
Recurring tasks
Repeat… makes a task happen daily, on chosen weekdays, or monthly, at a time and in a time zone. Its results can be posted to a conversation, and can wait for approval first: a weekly review of last week's posts, say, or the first draft of each month's newsletter.
Workflows
A workflow is steps you set up once and run on tasks: agents' work, waits, approvals, choices (if this, otherwise that), posts, new tasks, emails and apps' actions. Each step's result goes on to the next.
Triggers
When… starts a task when something happens: a message is posted, a file is added, a task is added or moved, a webhook is called, or something happens in an app. A trigger that fires too often pauses itself.
